Hypnotherapy, or hypnosis, is a means of creating a state of deep mental relaxation where physical and mental stress and tension are reduced. Someone in such a relaxed state of mind may be more open to suggestion and advice from a professionally trained hypnotherapist as to how to change certain aspects of their behaviour or lifestyle – such as smoking.
Many people say Hypnotherapy is the best way to quit smoking.
For me the hardest day certainly wasn’t the day I quit or even the day after that. Most people would except that the day you quit cigarettes for good would be the hardest day.
For me I think it’s about the 2nd or 3rd day of quitting or stopping that’s actually the hardest.
It’s partially due to the nicotine flushing out of your body, it’s still around after a couple of days so the cravings get more and more intense.
There are many ways to stop smoking, adjusting your habits by changing your behavioural sequences, going cold-turkey (my method), using drugs or nicotine replacements (gum, inhalers, patches etc.), by hynotherapy and perhaps other methods like herbal replacements.

I had no energy.
You lose your sense of smell.
Things become less tasty as you destroy your tastebuds with the putrid but addictive grey smoke, filling your lungs with tar and infusing your bloodstream with what you really desire..
